Inventory The Inventory program provides a detailed accounting of inventory quantities, and at the same time, provides in-depth cost and sales information to help you make purchasing and pricing decisions. A large number of options allow you to create a flexible system, which adapts to your requirements. Every item may be assigned a separate costing method. You may maintain inventory for a single location or any number of warehouses (locations), classify items of similar types into Product Codes, or create your own sort categories. Inventory Reports provide up-to-date information on stock status, reordering needs, inventory valuation, inventory turnover, and detailed sales history and analysis. If Inventory is integrated with Point of Sale Processing and Accounts Receivable, you may set up pricing structure which can include special pricing for sales or promotions, quantity price breaks, pricing levels for different customers types, or even contract pricing on specific items for specific customers. When the Inventory is integrated with the General Ledger, all inventory postings are made directly to the General Ledger, eliminating duplicate entries and possible errors.
